1974 Fender Stratocaster
Serial Number: 562605
Very Good condition displaying wear and tear, light checking, scratches, and
dings consistent with its age but absolutely nothing that detracts from its overall appearance at all.
This guitar plays perfectly.
This guitar has been re-fretted, and "plek'd (the frets
have been leveled with a computer leveling machine).
Additionally, the nutt (bone) has been replaced, so has
the tuners (Fender direct vintage) and bridge (Calihan
vintage narrow). And the 3-way pick-up
switch replaced with a current 5-way switch. Plays like butter.
However, all of the original tuners and bridge are in the
case.
Plays and sounds just as you expect of a vintage Strat!
Super-low action, straight neck and. All electronics,
tuners, controls, and 5-way switch work as intended.
This early Custom 1974 Stratocaster weighs just 7.60
lbs. and has a nut width of just under 1 5/8 inches and a
scale length of 25 1/2 inches. Solid alder body and one-
piece medium profile fretted maple neck with 21 frets.
Large headstock with "Fender" logo in black with gold
outline and "STRATOCASTER". Two "butterfly" string
trees, each with a nylon spacer. Three-bolt neck plate
with large Fender backward "F" and serial number
"562605" between the top two screws. Three single-coil
gray bottom pickups with staggered polepieces and
balanced outputs of 5.73k, 5.33k, and 5.40k.
Ships insured with the original hardshell case.
